I fell in love with the idea of me and you together twice. You hurt me both times. You lied to me and while I can never go back to you, I forgive you.

I don’t know what it was and is about you. I feel like I’ll never be able to be in a relationship with anybody because of you. I’ve had other crushes and I’ve found other people attractive but the thought of being with them felt weird. It felt wrong. Maybe that’s why I liked them for only a couple of months. Maybe it’s because they weren’t you. I feel like I’ll never have feelings for anybody else like I did for you. Like I still kind of do. It scares me that I might never be genuinely interested in a long-term relationship with someone else. But I guess there’s still so many people I haven’t met yet, but do I even want to meet them when there’s still you?
