I’m happy to say I’m finally over you. I still hope you’re doing well and part of me still loves you. But I’ve learned that you only hold a small piece of my heart and I have so much more love to give. So thank you. Thank you for showing me that I was capable of loving someone, even when I knew they never felt the same. Thank you for being a friend and sticking by me during one of the hardest times of my life. Thank you for giving me a reason to be happy when it felt like the world was crumbling around me. I know we haven’t talked in years and I don’t know who you’ve become. But I can say in complete faith that I’m grateful for the man you used to be. It was that man that gave me a reason to keep living and I will be forever grateful for that.
