Even though things were never resolved you’re still special to me. Even if I was idealizing you to be someone you’re not. Thank you for being someone that I could look up to. Thank you for inspiring me to become a better person. Thank you for being the first person that I was able to relate my life experiences with. Even though I will never get closure if you had feelings.. even if I’m not even on your mind.. even if we don’t talk..you’ll always mean something to me. I loved you and even if those romantic feelings are gone I still admire you for who you are. I wish nothing but happiness and someone to love you more than I did. Because of you I’m able to set higher standards for myself. I understand my worth now. Thank you for being someone I loved even though we were never a thing. Thank you.
