Icarus
a fool who fell in love with the feeling of falling
the feeling of melting
the feeling of the wind
the feeling of feeling loved.
loved by the sun himself
how wonderful it would feel to be loved by the sun
how cruel it would be to be in love with the sun
i wonder what made him decide that was would be the best to make wings with.
i wonder if he knew he would fall
maybe he did
then he could laugh at the sun and say
"i think i just fell in love with you"
he seems like the fool who'd use cheesy pick up lines
and i bet apollo loved every second that he was close with the boy Icarus

how about being loved by the moon?
hurt by so many. including yourself and yet she still does. she kills any man who tries. you wonder why she hasn't destroyed you.
A huntress in the woods. protector of the forest. you wouldn't be able to find her in her territory.
you would become where she points her arrow at.
she floats along the surface of the forest floors. she makes no error in snapping of twigs.
you're the one she's after
and as much as she hates to admit it, she wants to hunt with you
she wants you to be the one she protects her mossy abyss with. her forest home. she has the strength to pull the tides and she wants you.
how cruel is it if you aren't all that different?
and you know you aren't
you do everything you can do to just make her want to kill you. push you out of her home to where you can never see moonlight ever again.
you want her to curse you from ever being able to see in the dark.
you want her to make you trapped in your own head because that would be better than hurting her again when you know she doesn't deserve it.
How pathetic is it to dissapoint the moon?
