last summer felt like a dream, but it was probably the best dream that ive ever had. i wish summer never ended, but i still have you, and thats all i could ever ask for.

Pt. 2 .

I remember specifically on our final phone call a few things. One of the things I remember was, you told me, “I don’t owe you anything,” which was your response to my request for a FaceTime call. And In a voice call you said, “why do you want me so bad”? As if you were some prize to win. I listed some good characteristics to which you said, “yeah, I am pretty great, aren’t I?” Only further lifting yourself and putting salt in a wound. That on top of what I already said only further emphasizes the fact of how un-empathetic, prideful you had been to not even be courteous to someone you “loved.” That being said, I found someone really nice, her name is Lorena. She’s great, super driven, working two jobs, medical student. Great values, really pretty. Just all around amazing. And she’s super funny. You’re the ex that I’ll tell my future girlfriends about for being so emotionally draining but Lorena is helping me! I felt it was fitting to finally let go on this random thing as I was harboring a lot. It’s fitting because her and I are officially dating! And I couldn’t be happier to let go!
