I really wanted it to be you. You brought my hopes up. You made me feel so alive that night. When you held me in your arms, it felt like nothing else in the world mattered. Because in that very moment, I had everything I have ever wanted. You broke me when you got with her. Especially since she was my best friend. But I just wanted you to be happy, so I sat there in pain watching it happen everday. Watching you give her hugs, holding her hand, brushing her hair out of her face, just wishing that I was her.
