we’re both too strong to jump back into anything. we’re both also not ready and able to love each other again. maybe one day that’ll change. until then, i’ll hold the memories of the nights where i’d leave bed and come back to you smiling at me until i jumped back in, welcoming me with a hug or a kiss, incredibly highly. i should’ve realized what i had til i threw it all away, but alas, it was a learning experience, and it’s made me a better person who knows exactly what they want. anyways, onto the more important message above.
