I never thought I could like someone as much as I liked you. You were happy and bright in all the places I was gloomy and sad. I don't think you realize how much it meant to me when you came up to me just to talk. You made me feel wanted, like you liked my presence. I don't think you actually like me back, not as anything more than just a friend, anyway, but I regret not telling you. Maybe I could've stood a chance.
