it’s been an entire lifetime, but something in me won’t let you go. everything still reminds me of you, and every time our stupid song plays i think of all the good you did me, but then i remember all the bad. i deserved better and i think you know that, but i think that i’ll always love you, even though i wish i didn’t. you’re still the one i’ll have to tell my kids about. i don’t miss you, but i wish i could see you once more to finally get some closure
