I wish we could be friends forever, but I'm so exhausted of feeling like you only keep me around sometimes for the benefits. It's not fair when the main reason I've kept you around is because I'm in love with you. I thought I could get over you. I thought I could manage and say no to what you want. Now, though, I'm coming to the sad conclusion that the only way for this uncertainty, this mash of feelings and desires, to stop is for us to stop being friends.
