I’m sorry that I hurt you as much as I loved you. If I could go back in time and undo everything, I would and you wouldn’t have come across this text. I’m no grandiose writer, but I can still say that I love you — always have and will. Sometimes I lay down on my bed and stare at the ceiling, and think about what our lives would have been like with our own kids. Maybe it was for the best that you left me.
